Abstract
High resolution, low wave-number Raman spectra of amorphous PbTiO3 were studied by using Jobin Yvon Ramanor HG-2S. The Results are possibly explained by the existence of the “pressed” cubic-structure-like clusters in the amorphous PbTiO3, inferred from EXAFS and SAXS studies. For understanding low-temperature fluctnations both in amorphous and in crystalline PbTiO3, we have investigated the specific heat and the dielectric constant both at low temperatures. Keywords
