Abstract
A 7 6/12-year-old male with the syndrome of juvenile hypothyroidism and sexual precocity is described. The primary nature of the thyroid deficiency was established and testicular maturation was verified by biopsy. Papilledema, present initially, increased during and presumably as a result of therapy. Thyroid hormone replacement resulted in the simultaneous regression of the signs of hypothyroidism and sexual precocity. Keywords
