Abstract
Summary The vesicles of an olivine-dolerite that occurs as a small outcrop near Portree in the Isle of Skye contain zeolites and some hydrated calcium silicates. These latter include tobermorite, xonotlite, gyrolite, and what is presumed to be a new member of the tobermorite group. An attempt is made to account for the sequence of crystallization of the minerals. Keywords
