Abstract
Analysis of the characteristics of energy consumption in China shows that conservation is vital to China's economic development. Since 1979, through efforts of various regions and industrial sectors, certain success has been achieved. The moderate increase in energy conservation has contributed to growth of the country's economy. A series of measures have been adopted in administration, management, laws, technology and the economy to strengthen energy conservation. Energy saving in China's steel, building material, chemical and petrochemical industries have been planned and implemented. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
