Abstract
Trace element distributions across single human hairs using a proton microbeam has been measured to study the origin of these elements in hair. A new way of concentration assignment for micro PIXE making use of both the Proton Induced characteristic X-rays and the Rutherford Backscattered protons is reported. Keywords
