Abstract
The Born approximation for scattering is calculated for a nucleon-nucleon interaction which includes a tensor term. The parts of the resulting scattering amplitude are adjusted to obtain a fit to the elastic angular distributions. Spin-polarization phenomena are then calculated, with good agreement with experiment.
