Abstract
The article gives a brief description of an improved viscometer, permitting continuous observation of reactions with variations of temperature. Sera of rabbit, dog and horse behave like a true solution up to 55[degree]. When serum is diluted to a specific vol. equal to that of a 20% glucose soln. (a concentration 3 times that of serum) its viscosity is reduced below 1.62, the viscosity of the sugar solution. Blood serum, accordingly, has a surprisingly low viscosity relative to its protein concentration. Keywords
