Abstract
When an oscillatory system embodies uniform beams in flexure, as for instance in frames, the receptance method probably offers the most convenient means of analysing free and forced motion. The theory is given in detail and tables of receptance functions are presented. The use of these is explained by means of examples, and numerical work is made convenient by a table of functions. Keywords
