Abstract
Low energy electron-attenuation lengths (escape depths) of organic solids̄naphthacene, coronene, violanthrene A, and Cu-phthalocyanine have been determined by the successive change of film thickness. Transmitted electron current decreases exponentially in accordance with increase of the film thickness in thin film region. From this exponential decrease, we have estimated the electron-attenuation lengths. The electron-attenuation lengths vary in a wide range from 1.3 nm (violanthrene A) to 61 nm (coronene). Keywords
