Abstract
Data on temperature and salinity obtained during twenty-six cruises from 1963 to 1966, each covering twenty-eight hydrographic stations are presented. The data are grouped into four zones—the three coastal zones, and one central zone, and the mean temperature and salinity of each zone are tabulated for each season. Surface isotherms and isohalines and four vertical temperature sections for each season are shown. The results are discussed and possible explanations for variations are suggested. Keywords
