(t, p)QValues for Th, U, and Pu Isotopes

A semiconductor-detector system has been used to measure ground-state $Q$ values for the ($t, p$) reaction on targets of ${}_{}{}^{239}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Pu}$, ${}_{}{}^{240}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Pu}$, ${}_{}{}^{242}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Pu}$, ${}_{}{}^{235}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{U}$, ${}_{}{}^{236}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{U}$, ${}_{}{}^{238}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{U}$, and ${}_{}{}^{232}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{Th}$. Absolute $Q$ values are determined to an accuracy of ±20 keV, from a calibration based on known $Q$ values, for states excited in the reactions ${}_{}{}^{16}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}(t, p){}_{}{}^{18}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$ and ${}_{}{}^{12}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{C}(t, p){}_{}{}^{14}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{C}$. The measured $Q$ values are in good agreement with recent mass tables by Wapstra, Kurzeck, and Anisinoff.
