Abstract
The building and organization proposed above can be achieved by a process of gradual growth. Many novel technological and educational approaches are recommended. There will be numerous problems in interpreting the HSIC processes and equipment to the using community and in gaining acceptance by that community before the proposed activities can operate fully. The feasibility of such a program has been carefully analyzed, however, and it is believed that it is practicable. The successful establishment of such a program can have an important impact on education, research, and service activities in the health sciences, giving personnel in these areas more rapid, efficient, and complete access to the information relevant to their activities, along with up-to-date and sophisticated techniques for manipulating that information. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
