Abstract
Glucose intolerance preceding pulmonary disease in a child with cystic fibrosis is de scribed. After glucose intolerance was con trolled with tolbutamide, the pulmonary infec tion resolved. Early recognition and treatment of "diabetes" in children with cystic fibrosis is emphasized.Keywords
