Abstract
It is pointed out that in the theoretical distribution of time intervals between consecutive accidents, short time intervals are much more frequent than long ones." An excess of short time intervals over long intervals between accidents is not itself, therefore, evidence of accident proneness. It must be shown that the excess is greater than that by the theoretical distribution. Keywords
