Abstract
We have calculated the electron momentum distribution in the N–H bond of the ammonia molecule using a valence‐bond wavefunction. Included in the calculation were the positron wavefunctions on the nitrogen and hydrogen atoms. The results are compared with experimental data and a calculation of the momentum distribution using a SCF molecular orbital. Keywords
