Abstract
A new set of zeros, the blocking zeros, for linear time-invariant multivariable systems is described. The motivation for focusing attention of the blocking zeros is that they serve to characterize the essential feature that the error transfer function matrix of an asymptotic tracking control system must possess. Keywords
