Abstract
The concentration of inorganic and total phosphorus in lobster blood and muscle was determined. A wide variation in the phosphorus content of the blood was found, being highest immediately preceding the moult and lowest following it. The total phosphorus content of the muscle was relatively constant throughout the moult cycle, with an average concentration of 0.28 per cent, of which about 58 per cent was inorganic phosphorus. Keywords
