Diagnosis of asbestosis by needle lung biopsy

Abstract
Nine patients from Teesside who had asbestosis are briefly described. In seven of them a needle biopsy was made to confirm the diagnosis. The advantages of the procedure, using the Jack needle (Smith, 1964a), are discussed.Keywords
