Abstract
The total neutron cross section of normal uranium has been measured for neutron energies from 20 kev to 7.6 Mev and at 17, 19, and 20 Mev. When combined with other published work in the 7-14 Mev range, the result is a smooth cross-section curve up to 20 Mev. The curve fits smoothly on the surface showing total neutron cross section as a function of both atomic weight and neutron energy. Keywords
