Abstract
Suloctidil was examined in 11 patients with psycho-organic deficiency of vascular etiology. In the pharmacology study the evaluation was based on the analysis of the EEG and postural responses after glucose administration and CO2 inhalation, before and after a suloctidil loading dose. Clinical results were based on an overall clinical equilibrium and a set of psychometric and postural tests. In the condition studied, the drug was efficient, probably due to a metabolic effect of suloctidil independent from its vasomotor activity.
