Abstract
Magnetostriction measurements have been made on metallic glasses. Samples were of composition (Fe1−xCox)0.75P0.16B0.06Al0.03 and were produced in the amorphous state by the roller‐quenching technique. The magnetostriction was found to range from λ=20 μs for x=0 to λ=−4 μs for x=0.97 with zero magnetostriction occurring when x=0.96.This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
