Abstract
A new species of the family Siboglinidae is described, including details of its reproduction and its symbiotic bacteria. This is the first known hermaphrodite among the Pogonophora. Its symbiotic bacteria are remarkable for their stacks of intracytoplasmic membranes. The new species occurs with Siboglinum fiordicum in depths of 230–340 m.Keywords
