Beta Decay ofO20

${}_{}{}^{20}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$ was produced in the reaction ${}_{}{}^{18}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$(${}_{}{}^{18}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$, ${}_{}{}^{16}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$)${}_{}{}^{20}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$ and its half-life measured by observing the decay of the 1.06-MeV $\gamma$ transition in ${}_{}{}^{20}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ in a Ge-Li counter. The result is $t_{\frac{1}{2}}=13.57\mathrm{}\pm 0.1$ sec, $logft=3.73\mathrm{}$. Upper limits were obtained for weak $\beta$-decay branches of ${}_{}{}^{20}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{O}$ to other states in ${}_{}{}^{20}{}_{}{}^{}\mathrm{F}$ between $E_x=0.984\mathrm{} \mathrm{and} 2.195$ MeV.
