Abstract
A potential bioassay method for nystatin has been developed based on the ability of this antibiotic to bring out dose-related potassium ion efflux from susceptible cells of Saccharomyces cerevisiae, such extracellular potassium ion concentration being measured by flame photometry.Keywords
