Abstract
An apparatus has been described for rapid and accurate measurements of the diffusion and partition coefficients of dissolved substances in membranes, along with the general layout and arrangement of the equipment and the possibilities of use. The apparatus combines a diffusioncell and a twin membrane pump, and has been designed in such a manner as to reduce to a minimum the total volume of solution in the apparatus. It is used in connection with a sensitive external flow concentration detector. Keywords
