Abstract
The problem of ureteral calculi is concerned not so much with the size of a stone as how rapidly it is progressing. Stones that reach the lower ureter in a day or two are on their way out; those that hang in the upper ureter have a long and hard journey ahead and are best removed surgically. Keywords
