Abstract
The accident at the nuclear power plant at Chernobyl resulted in more radioactive fallout over Sweden than over other parts of western Europe. In the effort to establish its impact on Sweden, the National Defence Research Institute and the Swedish Geological Company took an important part. A description how this was done and what equipment was used is given. Keywords
