Abstract
Most myelodysplasia children are managed by means other than external urinary diversion. This has increased the indications for antireflux surgery in such patients. This review of 21 consecutive myelodysplasia children undergoing ureteral reimplantation indicates that there is a higher complication rate than in ureteral reimplantation in children with primary vesicoureteral reflux. With proper patient selection a satisfactory degree of success is attainable. This publication has 16 references indexed in Scilit:
