Abstract
Six different approximations of soil sorptivity were applied to 3 soils at different initial water contents. Parlange''s approximation obtained by optimization gave excellent results. A new parameter was quite constant over a range of initial water contents and was useful in estimating the sorptivity for changing initial water contents. An exponential diffusivity function was also used to approximate the sorptivity. This publication has 5 references indexed in Scilit:
