Abstract
A measurement of the momentum spectra of and mesons produced at 0° and 17° in the laboratory in collisions is reported. Incoming proton energies of 2.85, 2.4, and 2.0 BeV were investigated. From the spectra an upper limit is set on the production of a possible state.
