Abstract
The inverse Born approximation is used to reconstruct refractive index profiles from simulated scattering data. Conditions for the validity of the procedure are examined and graphical results for a range of scattering parameters are presented. An iterative procedure which extends the range of applicability of the inverse Born approximation is developed. Improved reconstructions are presented. Keywords
