Abstract
A study of controlled hypotension was undertaken in 50 mafor surgical patients using labetalol, a drug with both alpha-and beta-adrenoceptor blocking acitivity. The patients were such that difficulty in achieving controlled hypotbension could be anticipared; the young, the anxious and thoses for whom halothane was contraidicated. The administrationo of labetalol quickly induced hypotension which was controlled easily and was rapidly antagonized.This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
