The properties of antigenic preparations from Brucella melitensis

Abstract
Formic acid was identified as a product of the hydrolysis of Br. melitensis antigen and evidence is presented that the unhydrolyzed antigen contains a formamino group. Some chemical, physical and serological properties of the high-molecular amine are compared with those of its formyl derivative.
