New Mosquito Hosts for Plasmodium gallinaceum

Abstract

Aedes campestris, A. stimulans, A. triseriatus, A. trivittatus, Mansonia pertur-bans, Culex salinarius and Theobaldia inornata were infected experimentally with Plasmodium gallinaceum. These are new hosts. As reported by others, C. pipiens was insusceptible, A. vexans very susceptible.
