Abstract
The Wiedemann-Franz ratio of pure Al single crystals has been measured at temperatures between 1·5 and 4·2 K and shown to extrapolate to the theoretically predicted value at zero temperature. The possibility of observing a transverse phonon lattice thermal conductivity in Al has been discussed and shown to be very small, in agreement with the experimental results. Keywords
