Abstract
The relation of velocity of hydrolysis of starch by diastase (from germinated barley) to the concentration of starch differs from that previously described for enzymes. The effects of ph, salt concentration, and temp. are shown. A comparison is made with glycogen as a substrate. The temp. coefficient varied with starch concentration. This publication has 2 references indexed in Scilit:
