Abstract
Ionic polarization leads to a substantial change in CQQ | (q, w) only for q values less than that at which the main peak in S QQ(q) occurs. Ionic polarization has little effect on CQQ| (q, w) Ionic polarization leads to significant changes in CMM | (q, w) over the full q range Both optic and acoustic peaks are present in the inelastic neutron scattering spectrum at lower q values, and that spectrum is modified by ionic polarization. There are optic shear waves at low q. There are acoustic shear waves even at the smallest q value, 0·292 Å−1Keywords
