Abstract
The energy spectra of the odd-A isotopes of Eu and Tm nuclei are studied in the pseudo-SU(3) model diagonalizing a simple quadrupole-quadrupole (Q.Q) interaction. The predicted spectra are found to be in reasonably good agreement with the experimental situation. Keywords
