Abstract
Two of the separations in the hyperfine structure of the 3P32 state of Na23 were measured. The results are 61±2 Mc/sec and 36.6±2 Mc/sec. These results were assigned to the (F=3F=2) and (F=2F=1) separations. A value of Q=+0.1±0.06×1024 cm2 was calculated for the nuclear electric quadrupole moment.
