Abstract
Based on the current space-charge theory for ionic crystals and the existence in real experiments of an inevitable gap between crystal and electrode surfaces a 'surface polarisation' model is developed. An analysis of thermally-stimulated current and dielectric relaxation data of CdF2 by 'fitting' shows a good agreement between experiment and theory and results of DC conductivity measurements. Keywords
