Abstract
A simple method for estimating the percent nonconforming product in accepted lots using a zero defect acceptance sampling plan is proposed. The method is illustrated by a recent application involving the manufacture of an electronic component. Generalization to plans that allow one or more nonconforming sampled units for lot acceptance and various other extensions are also discussed. Keywords
