VORTICAL CLOUD SYSTEMS OVER THE TROPICAL ATLANTIC DURING THE 1967 HURRICANE SEASON

Abstract
Stronger tropical depressions are associated with a recognizable vortical cloud pattern. This note summarizes the number and history of vortical cloud systems observed over the tropical Atlantic during the 1967 hurricane season.
