Abstract
Conservation of polypeptide fold and mode of ligand binding is frequently found within proteins of related function. Examples illustrating this phenomenon are taken from NAD linked enzymes, nucleotide binding proteins, polysaccharide binding proteins, heme binding proteins and enzymes with essential Fe-S complexes or zinc atoms. This publication has 70 references indexed in Scilit:
