Two-dimensional analysis of the stability of particulate sedimentation

Abstract
The solution of the equations for a two-phase flow which models steady sedimentation is shown to be stable to small perturbations when diffusivity terms are included. The two-dimensional forms of the equations are employed, and it has been assumed that the drag coefficient is constant.Keywords
