Abstract
Maggot [Chrysomyia larvae] infestation in a series of 100 cases in India is reported. The entomological aspects were studied in 20 cases. The clinical features of myiasis are described. This disease commonly occurs in nasal and ear cavities where maggots grow. The use of maggot oil drops and irrigation with normal saline is an effective treatment. Prevention of maggot infestation is stressed. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
