Henningsia (Polyporaceae) and a Description of the Type Species

Abstract

The monotypic genus Henningsia is redescribed. H. brasiliensis (including H. geminella) is redescribed from the only known collections from Brazil. Henningsia is compared with Rigidoporus and they are judged to be distinct. Polyporus liebmanni (including P. rigescens) is excluded from Henningsia.
