Abstract
Summary: A study of the arenaceous Foraminifera from the Chalk of England shows them to be useful stratigraphically. A range chart indicates that some species are of diagnostic value in age determination. The problems of nomenclature and synonymy have been studied in an endeavour to delimit more precisely the stratigraphical range of the species. The internal structures of certain species have been studied in detail. Study of the structure of the initial part of the test and of the internal structure of later chambers has yielded information with a significant bearing on the relationship and the evolution of the various genera. This publication has 8 references indexed in Scilit:
