Abstract
In red raspberry a major gene, R, is proposed which controls the formation of rhamnose-containing fruit pigments, cyanidin, 3-rutinoside (Cy 3-Ru) and cyanidin 3-glucosylrutinoside (Cy 3-GIRu). Genotypically ‘Willamette’, ‘Washington’ and ‘Matsqui’ are rr, ‘Canby’, ‘SHRI 6626/41’ and ‘SHRI 6531/42’ are Rr and ‘SHRI 6531/84’ is RR.Keywords
