Frequently encountered in dermatologic practice is the woman who is "losing her hair." Needless to say, the emotional overtones in this situation are great. Some men take the state of their hair seriously. Practically all women do. The feminine attitude toward this is suggested by a traditional punishment that has been dealt women through history.
