Abstract
A family medicine in-training assessment examination was developed and piloted in 20 programs across the country. Core Content Review questions were used for the examination. Reporting of scores used both the traditional, normative-referenced approach, and a criterion-referenced approach. The latter permitted family medicine faculty to set passing standards for the examination. The pilot project was well received and the examination will be offered to all family medicine residency programs this year. This publication has 0 references indexed in Scilit:
